Andrew Ellis is a lighting designer with experience in straight plays, modern dance, classical ballet, concerts, devised theatre, youth theatre, comedy and musicals.
Since graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama with a first class honours degree in Theatre Practice in 2005, Andrew has expanded his experience, designing shows in venues as diverse as the White Bear Theatre Kennington and Sadlers Wells.

In 2005 Andrew won the ALD prize in the Michael Northern Bursary for his work on "Tin Drum" at Central School of Speech and Drama. The bursary is awarded yearly and was set up to reward students who show exemplary talent in lighting design.

Current projects include design for Link Dance, 2nd Year Musicals and Graduates Show at Urdang Academy, National Youth Ballet at the Ashcroft Theatre Croydon and Assembly Halls, Tunbridge Wells, Cloud Dance Festival at Jacksons Lane  and As You Like it for Surrey Youth Theatre..
